Cancelling your insurance with Hugo is simple.
- Log in to your Hugo account here.
- Turn off your coverage. Tap My Policy in the bottom bar and then click on the toggle at the top of your screen to schedule your coverage to turn OFF.
Once your coverage is off, you can request a refund for any remaining money in your Hugo account.

Request refund. Tap the Payment tab in the bottom bar and then click on Balance History. Click the Refund button and enter the amount you want refunded. You'll be able to return your entire Hugo balance to the original payment card(s) used to deposit the money.
One nice thing to remember - you can restart your Hugo policy instantly just about any time. Just log into your account and follow the instructions there, and we'll have you insured again in no-time.
Please note: the refund will have to go back to the card(s) that added the money to your Hugo account in the first place. It can take up to 10 days for your funds to get back to that card - we send the refund request immediately, but banks and card companies are slow. We wish it was faster!
