We here at Hugo are your broker and are not part of the claims process, but we’re always here to help direct you to your carrier so you can file a claim.If you’re a Hugo member filing a claim, login to your account and click on the Help icon in your menu bar. You can also click on Help in the main navigation menu.
Next, click “File a claim” and call the number displayed on your screen to connect with a claims representative.
If your policy is placed with First Acceptance, you’ll be directed to their claims department at 1-800-779-2103 to speak with a claims specialist.
They're available from Mon-Fri: 7am - 8pm CST and Sat & Sun: 8am - 5pm CST. You can also file a claim by emailing newclaims@acceptanceinsurance.com, but this process can be slower.
For your reference, you can always download your policy documents directly from your Hugo member account to help with the claims process.
If you’re a driver filing a claim against a Hugo member, please visit withhugo.com and click on the help icon in the lower right corner. Then click “File a claim” and enter the policy number of the individual you are filing a claim against. Follow the instructions on screen to connect with a claims representative.
