Warning period is a 10-day grace period following your last billing notice. We send you your billing notice via text message and email.
Typically, you will only receive this if a scheduled Auto Reload payment fails (like when a charge is declined). Your billing notice will always list the due date by which you must add money to your account to avoid entering warning period.
You must add money to your account or cancel your policy within 24 hours of your billing notice, or you will enter warning period.
During warning period, you will still have 10 days to add money to your account, but Hugo will cover the cost of these insured days on your behalf.
You will be asked to repay any days we pay on your behalf at cost - no extra fees or interest. If you do not repay and add money by the end of warning period, your coverage will be cancelled.
