In certain states, Hugo needs to check your location in order to start your coverage. Checking location helps you by increasing the chances of payout in a claims event. It will never impact your price.
When you share location, Hugo only receives your approximate location at the time your coverage starts. Hugo does not request or collect location on an on-going basis while you drive. We will ask for your consent before we check location.
Read below on how to share location with Hugo, based on the device and internet browser you are using.

Troubleshooting
Don't have another browser? Common browsers for each operating system are listed below.
Common browsers for iPhone: Safari (default), Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, DuckDuckGo.
Common browsers for Android: Chrome (default), Firefox, Edge, Brave, DuckDuckGo.
Commong browsers for MacOS (desktop): Safari (default), Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge.
Common browsers for PC: Microsoft Edge (default), Chrome, Firefox, Brave.
There are multiple location enabling interfaces (Share my Location, Maps, other browsers) that look identical, which is confusing! So please ensure you are in enabling location for the correct app by going through the steps above and ensuring you are enabling location for your browser, and not something else.
